From reception to the charge nurse and all the Radiololgy operating girls my 9 weeks of radiation treatment went as smoothly as one could hope for. I’m sure for many this is a daunting and worrying time but everyone from Icon made my time almost enjoyable to turn up each day with genuine greetings and some daily banter. All the staff are patient focussed and I was made to feel totally comfortable at any given time. My weekly sessions with the charge nurse reviewing my progress and the follow up call from Professor Senthi gave me confidence that my treatment was proceeding with the best possible outcome.
We found A/Professor Sasha Senti extremely knowledgeable, competent and caring from our first meeting. A/P Sasha and all the staff at Icon Mulgrave were fantastic and kept us well informed.
Sasha and the Icon staff were outstanding in both care and treatment. Follow ups from Sasha were weekly, as was a meeting with a nurse. Nothing was too much trouble.I understand that we ar e dealing with the incidious desease of Cancer, and of course there are no guarantees, but I always found myself just wanting something to cling to, outside of living in the grey. Appointments were always on time, and the whole reluctant experience, was as good as, I think, it could be.Sasha was always asking me to reach out to him on anything. The nursing staff were always friendly, which made going there daily for 30 treatments, never a chore.I am very thankful I had such wonderful people taking care of me.Nearly at the end of treatment and I feel I have been really supported throughout a really mentally stressful time. I have remained 95% positive the entire time, but your mind eants to default to the 5% grey constantly.If anyone had a choice of Radiologist, you would be very lucky to have Sasha and his team in your corner.
I am now in the last week of my radiation therapy, and I can’t speak more highly of Sasha and the ICON team.His manner is exemplary- he explains everything in a clear, patient and friendly manner. And he proactively set up a weekly contact while also offering an ‘open door’ ( that was really open!) if you had any concerns.Everyone at ICON - reception, nurses and therapists - was friendly and helpful, and consistently enquired as to how you were feeling. And the whole process worked like clockwork.
Sasha is completely patient obsessed. My mother recently completed 6 weeks of radiation therapy for a brain tumor. With all the COVID-19 issues going forward it is really hard to do remote treatment and appointments however Sasha seems to have nailed the phone appointments.He always called ahead of time and he was clear concise and he took the time to explain everything so that she could understand. Communication challenges has affected doctors for decades however the last 6 weeks the communication of the entire process has been amazing.Sasha’s team were remarkable, the nurses took the time to focus on each patient and while my mother was having an extremely challenging few months, we could not fault Sasha’s team at ICON Mulgrave.We appreciated that nurses, technicians and Sasha were available when treatment issues arose. Staff ensured that the atmosphere was always positive and patient focused. While we hope that nobody ever has to go through Cancer treatment if you do our entire family recommends Sasha Senthi. …. Thank you to Sasha and the team at Icon Cancer Centre at Epworth Richmond. Sasha has been diligent, thorough, prompt and available during the lead up to, planning and process of my radiation therapy program. There were many discussions, twists and turns but Sasha always ensured he communicated with me during it all. The staff have also been unbelievably compassionate, gentle and understanding. The fear of the unknown is always there going into something new, but the Icon team definitely made me feel at ease. Thank you 🙏

My experience with Sasha has been very smooth. He expressed himself clearly and ensured I understood what was happening at every step.He put me at ease and even followed up on a new overseas treatment to see if he could access it. He has always gone over and above what I would have expected and has always been accessible.His team at Icon were fabulous, caring and very gentle and still very professional.I'd like to thank Sasha and the whole team for all their efforts while I was having treatment.
Phenomenal experience at this Radiology Centre. The entire team at ICON Moreland were a pleasure to deal with. Very compassionate, understanding and focused on their patients and the best care for them.The machine itself is remarkable as well. Very fast to operate and treat, I was in and out of there within 10 minutes, every day for 5 weeks.The nurses, technicians and even the Radiologist (Sasha Senthi) were very attentive, listened to any concerns, issues and feedback at all times and made sure what could have easily been a daunting or uneasy time a complete breeze.I was sincerely beyond impressed and recommend this Centre, Team, Machine and Radiologist to anyone that needs radiation treatment for tumors / cancer. I can honestly not recommend them highly enough.

I have been having treatment for cancer for three years, and have constantly been impressed with the wonderful medical and technologic developments, that are helping with ongoing treatment. My last treatment has been radiation on some melanomas at Holmesglen Private Hospital in Moorabbin, under the supervision of Radiation Oncologist, Professor Sashi Senthi.The worst problem for me, was not becoming too anxious or nervous about the cancer or the treatment. Professor Senthi and his team, were a magnificent example to me of caring professionals. At no time, with any of the staff, did I ever feel anything except relaxed. Professor Senthi was extremely thorough and understanding in his explanations to me and my wife of all facets of the treatment. He also made himself available on the phone at any time if we had any questions or concerns.We are most fortunate to have such reassuring and caring people as Professor Senthi and his team.
Post Cancer surgery treatment is no joke. Mine was made easy because it was conducted locally at Icon Cancer Clinic by a/prof Sasha Senthi and his friendly staff who made me welcome every time on my daily visits. My weekly appointments with a/prof Sasha himself were good for my morale because he showed me scans of changes and progess & answered my numerous questions. I feel good about how I was treated & how I was given evidence of progress.
